§ — Liquet

Every citation, checked at the source.

Each draft leaves the agents with a Liquet report attached. Every citation retrieved from the primary source, in its current version. Every quotation matched against the original text. Every assertion that rests on a source, traced back to it.

What cannot be verified is flagged red, listed at the top of the report, and excluded from the final draft. Yellow marks authority with later history. Green means: retrieved, matched, current.

Red never reaches a signature silently.

It reads incoming documents the same way. A brief from the other side arrives at 16:45 — three citations come back with later history, one cannot be found at all, and the reply outline is already forming.

Green

Statutory citation verifiedCurrent primary-source version retrieved through Bridge. Pinpoint reference found.

Green

Quotation matchedQuote text matches source excerpt. Ellipsis and emphasis disclosed.

Yellow

Later history detectedAuthority exists and supports the proposition, but later appellate history should be addressed.

Red

Unverifiable citationNo matching source found in selected databases. Listed at top of report, excluded from final draft.

§ 2 — Product architecture

Three product lines. One promise: source-linked legal work.

Chambers does the legal work. Bridge gives agents safe access to authorized systems and legal data. Liquet checks the work against primary sources. This is not a workspace with a chat box; it is legal production infrastructure for the practice you build.

I.

Chambers

Agentic legal AI. Associate, Paralegal, Clerk, and Counsel agents draft, research, review, manage deadlines, and prepare strategy notes.

II.

Bridge

Safe interoperability. Read from practice management, DMS, research databases, court-filing preparation folders, and client sources under case-scoped permissions.

III.

Liquet

Verification engine. Every citation, quotation, and source-linked assertion is checked against the live primary source and reported in green, yellow, or red.

§ 3 — Magilegis Chambers

Staff up without hiring.

Magilegis Chambers is a team of legal AI agents modeled on roles your practice already understands. Each agent works from authorized sources, hands back source-linked output, and carries a Liquet report on top. The signature stays yours.

Associate

The drafting agent

First drafts of contracts, pleadings, memos, and client letters in your house style, built from your precedents and case facts.

No more blank page.

Paralegal

The research & review agent

Case-law research across legal databases, document review, due-diligence sweeps, chronologies, and source-linked findings.

Findings with receipts.

Clerk

The operations agent

Deadlines calculated, filing packages staged, court-filing preparation organized, file names normalized, and case hygiene handled.

The work nobody bills for.

Counsel

The analysis agent

Risk memos, strategy options, settlement ranges, and structured second opinions before a hearing or negotiation.

A second brain at 2 a.m.

§ 4 — Magilegis Bridge

No migration. No rip-and-replace. No copy-paste.

Most legal AI lives in a browser tab, cut off from the systems that hold your actual case. Bridge brings the agent to the data — without turning your firm systems into an uncontrolled export channel.

Connector families

Practice managementClio, case metadata, contacts, deadlines, and file structures.
DocumentsiManage, NetDocuments, DMS folders, data rooms, and approved precedent libraries.
ResearchWestlaw, research databases, statutes, cases, commentary, and primary-source retrieval.
CourtsCourt-filing preparation, exhibit indices, deadline notes, and court-correspondence preparation.

Your data stays where it is.

The AI comes to it. Bridge uses read-only retrieval, case-scoped access, source-level provenance, no-bulk-export modes, and firm-managed revocation where required.

  • Agent sees what you may see — nothing more.
  • Every retrieved source is logged and attached.
  • Firm or client access can be revoked without deleting your personal know-how.
  • Existing systems remain the source of truth.

§ 6 — Standalone audits

It works on documents you did not write.

Run your own draft, a generic AI draft, a trainee’s memo, or opposing counsel’s brief through Liquet standalone. Get a citation audit in minutes — including invented cases, misleading quotations, outdated statutes, and authorities that say less than the draft claims.

Opposing counsel’s brief arrives at 16:45.

You drop it into Liquet. Three citations return yellow because they have later history. One returns red because the database cannot find the case at all. Your reply just wrote its own opening.

  • Citation existence check
  • Quotation match against source text
  • Later-history and amendment caveats
  • Table of authorities export
  • Issue list for reply drafting

§ 7 — Confidentiality, also provable

We cannot read your cases. Your client can verify that too.

Liquet proves legal sources. The case-verification layer proves privacy configuration: jurisdiction, inference route, key custody, provider access, and whether plaintext case data is available to Magilegis-controlled systems.

Your keys, by default

Case data is encrypted with keys you hold. In self-custody confidential mode, plaintext case data is unavailable to Magilegis-controlled training pipelines because Magilegis cannot read it. For managed-key or firm-governed configurations, the trade-off is explicit before it is enabled.

Key custodyLawyer-held
Readable to MagilegisNo
Training availabilityNo plaintext available

Verification key for clients

Issue a verification key for any case. A client, co-counsel, DPO, or risk team can confirm the configuration live without seeing one document: storage jurisdiction, inference jurisdiction, privacy mode, provider access, and retention policy.

§ 8 — Regions

Storage and inference are chosen per case.

Every account can configure storage and inference jurisdictions per case from the available region list.

§ 9 — How it feels in practice

A working day with Chambers, Bridge, and Liquet.

09:04 · New case intake

Clerk reads the DMS folder, calculates deadlines, and stages the conflict check. Paralegal pulls the relevant case law and builds a first chronology from the client’s documents.

11:30 · First draft

Associate produces the statement of defense from your precedents. Liquet report attached: 14 citations, 14 verified, 2 flagged with later appellate history you will want to address.

16:45 · Opposing brief

You drop opposing counsel’s brief into Liquet. Three citations return yellow. One returns red. Counsel prepares a reply outline with the weak authorities already isolated.

§ 10 — Use cases

Legal production, source-linked.

Magilegis works for individual practices, boutiques, small-to-mid-size firms, chambers, and in-house teams. Drafts, chronologies, research notes, and reviews stay attached to the sources behind them.

Associate

Uses a new model the week it ships for a live diligence issue list, while the firm platform waits for procurement.

Partner

Carries professional memory — agents, prompts, templates, review methods — when moving firms or building an independent practice.

Solo

Gets junior-staff leverage without hiring, with drafts, chronologies, research notes, and source reports ready for review.

Boutique

Connects firm knowledge safely through read-only Bridge connectors, without migrating everything into a new platform.

Cross-border

Runs each case where it belongs — EU, Switzerland, US, Hong Kong, or Mainland China — with client-verifiable configuration.

§ 11 — Questions

Short answers, with details in the Trust Center.

Is my client data safe?

Bridge reads authorized sources under case-scoped permissions. In self-custody confidential mode, case data is encrypted with keys you hold, and plaintext is not available to Magilegis-controlled training pipelines.

What happens when Liquet cannot verify something?

It tells you loudly. Unverifiable citations and assertions are flagged red and listed at the top of the report. The system is designed to make uncertainty visible, not hide it.

Do I have to change how my firm works?

No. Bridge connects to systems your practice already uses: practice management, DMS, legal research, court-workflow folders, and approved case sources.

Does this replace legal judgment?

It replaces the blank page, the first chronology, the 1 a.m. cite-check, and the third pass through a data room. Judgment, strategy, signature, and responsibility stay yours.

Can I try it on my own documents first?

Yes. The product demo is designed around a real or realistic case, live source retrieval, and a Liquet report you can inspect.

Who can get access now?

Onboarding runs in batches. If you are admitted in Switzerland, you join the next available batch. International lawyers can apply for one of a limited number of seats per batch, or queue for a following batch with their configuration on file. Wherever you join from, you choose your storage and inference regions per case.

How does onboarding work?

Start with one real or realistic case. We scope the agents, source access, legal-data packages, regions, and availability commitments around that work before provisioning.

§ 12 — Access

Start with one case.

Magilegis is in production and onboarding new customers. There is no instant self-signup: every account comes with guaranteed availability, so your environment — regions, models, sources — is provisioned before you start. Wherever you sign up from, you choose the storage and inference jurisdictions for each case, from the full list; capacity is expanding across all of them.

Onboarding currently runs in batches. Lawyers admitted in Switzerland join the next available batch; a limited number of international seats are allocated per batch, and everyone else is queued for the following ones with their configuration already on file.
